- At-home exercises and meditations

*Chinese herbal medicine is an ancient art of combining medicinal herbs into a custom prescription for each patient. The combinations strengthen the desired effects of the herbs, while minimizing side effects. We typically use between 8 and 18 herbs in each formula. Herbs come in their dried form for boiling at home, or in granules, tablets, capsules, tinctures, washes, soaks and more for easy consumption. We always take into account what other herbs, supplements and medications you are on for safety reasons.

Cristina is a Registered Acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner, and a member in good standing with the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO). She completed her formal education in Advanced Chinese Medicine at the Toronto School of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TSTCM), meeting the equivalent of doctoral-level curriculum requirements. She continues to expand her clinical expertise through ongoing advanced training, mentorship, and active engagement with current research, with a particular focus on integrative oncology.

Cristina brings a compassionate, attentive, and evidence-informed approach to cancer care, supporting patients before, during, and after conventional oncology treatments. She is deeply committed to enhancing quality of life for individuals navigating cancer, with a clinical focus on symptom management, reduction of treatment-related side effects, immune support, emotional well-being, and long term recovery. Her work is grounded in classical Chinese Medicine principles and informed by emerging research on the role of acupuncture and integrative therapies in oncology.

Drawing from the full scope of Chinese Medicine, Cristina integrates acupuncture, herbal medicine, moxibustion, cupping therapy, and individualized diet and lifestyle guidance to create personalized treatment plans. She works thoughtfully and safely alongside both integrative and conventional cancer treatments, always prioritizing collaboration, patient comfort, and individualized care.

In addition to oncology-focused care, Cristina treats a broad range of conditions including stress and anxiety, sleep disorders, acute and chronic pain, digestive and respiratory conditions, gynecological health concerns, and complex or chronic health issues. She looks beyond presenting symptoms to address underlying imbalances, with the goal of restoring harmony and supporting the body’s innate healing capacity.

Guided by a deep respect for ancestral wisdom, the body’s relationship with nature, and the therapeutic power of simple, natural interventions, Cristina blends longstanding traditions with modern clinical understanding. She believes that meaningful and lasting healing occurs when physical, emotional, and mental health are addressed as an integrated whole. Cristina views healing as a collaborative journey. She creates a safe, supportive space where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered. Through compassionate care, clear communication, and thoughtful guidance, she supports her patients in navigating their health with confidence, resilience, hope, and a sense of shared responsibility for their well-being.
